I've been using the Edifier MR5 studio speakers for my desk setup, and I'm really impressed with the sound quality. The audio is clear, the bass is solid, the mids are clear, and the highs sound crisp without being overwhelming.
The build quality and overall design are excellent, and they look great on my desk. I use my setup for editing videos!
Overall, these speakers offer excellent value for the price. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality studio monitors for their home office, desktop setup, or creative workspace.
Just had to try these out. No regrets ! They replace R1850DBs with T5 sub. Convenient volume control and you don't have to increase the volume to get the sub going. Full rich sound at all volume levels.
Very happy. Now I have to find another room for my R1850dbs. Love problems like that.
I previously had the EDIFIER R1280DBs, and I loved them. But when I saw the MR5 I knew I had to step up to a new level. They are beautiful and sound amazing. My next step is finding the right sub woofer. Also these speakers you can connect multiple inputs desk top MP3, CD, Turn table the connection are all there. Love it thank you EDIFIER.
Bought them, they are honestly one of the best speakers you can get in this price range, esp when they are on sale. Tri Ampe'd 5in driver, 3.5 mid, and a tweeter for 280 bucks CAD? you bet.
I will say that they aren't quite as loud for overall volume as I was expecting, but you can tell its the DSP that is reducing them down so that they dont distort. Overall though im very happy.
