Bought this remote to replace flimsy remote of my awesome R1850DB speakers. It controls the volume +/- and mute, switches to Bluetooth and powers on & off the speakers. On the very rare occasion when I switch to LINE input, I use the button behind the speaker. You gotta get this remote (or the similar remote for the R1700BTs speakers) for the R1850DB speakers. Worth every penny !

I ordered an extra remote to put away, as a backup for the day that I accidentally damage, loose, or wear out the original that came with the R1280DBs bookshelf speakers. The first one I received had an issue that made it work intermittently, then quit, but after one email it was replaced with one that works. No hassle involved.
