You can turn on the Edifier speakers by one of the following methods:
1) Connect the main power of your speakers
2) Switch on the wall outlet of your speakers
Please switch the system of these speakers to the active mode, and remove the audio source. There will be no problem with these speakers if you can't hear noises from 1 meter away.
Please check the below points:
1) Make sure your speaker is switched to Bluetooth mode. Disconnect any other devices from your speakers
2) Ensure the transmission range is within 10 meters.
3) Try another Bluetooth device for connection

I have owned some great speakers in my life; Bose, NHT, etc. these speakers are as good(if not better) than any speakers I have owned or heard. In my view, there are no speakers for double the price that sound better than these Edifier speakers…….the sound is amazing and the cabinet quality and design are impeccable! I am a fan!
I absolutely love these speakers. They are stylish, quality, great audio with lots of connectivity. I use them in my home office (approx. 12'x12') wired to my computer via RCA. The Bluetooth functions great, but quality lossless audio requires wiring and I use the RCAs. I also connected my Rega record player and Cambridge preamp. I play guitar and these allow for loud accompaniment sound without distortion. Many independent reviews online rank these as top quality speakers. They're spot on. I'd like to buy the matching stands eventually for better room positioning. (Fun fact: the ease of switching sources allows you to test multiple sources of audio for quality. I tested streaming lossless digital audio against my vinyl. The record player was slightly warmer than lossless digital audio, but differences were minimal and could likely be tweaked to match with EQ).
These speakers sound amazing. They are heavy and cost a lot of money, but I'm glad I made the investment. I'm using them with my record player and the sound is incredible.
